I offer a complete service of chair repair--simple reglues to part making, turnings, etc.

 

I can recreate almost any patterns in a variety of materials and can recommend options to produce something new that would be appropriate to the piece, be it antique or modern.

I do not refinish or reupolster furniture--but can offer you sound referrals!

 

I have materials available for you to purchase if you wish to do it yourself.

 Hey folks!  Just wanted to let you know I've been in the business for 42 years!  I've done work for Boston museums (Fine Arts/Gardener) and for the Shelburne Museum and Shelburne Farms here at home.  I take great pride in my work and expertise in many, many types of seat weaving (and the occasional camel seat...) and am well versed in chair restoration and conservation.  I also reglue/repair solid wooden chairs and offer wicker repair.
